2012 McLaren P1 is sleek, subtle and fun. The supercar is built from a carbon fiber Monocell used in McLaren MP4-12C. The mega Mac can be seen on some exterior elements such as active aerodynamics, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, traction control, hydraulic anti-roll control, re-tuned pushrod suspension, front and rear spoilers, and adaptive dampers. On the rear side area, you can find a gigantic rear wing. You can customize it if you want to maximize the aerodynamic features and to increase the down force.
Engine
The automaker has not stated full detail for the engine. But the rumor states that it will be powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine. The engine is made with coordination with Ricardo. The powertrain produced can reach Th rate at 800 Hp. The car can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Compared to the world faster car in the world, Veyron, it is 0.2 seconds slower. But there is another rumor which states that it will be equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine supported with KERS energy storage feature.
Pricing
2012 McLaren P1 is estimated to go on sale in the base price from £350,000 to £400,000.
